ABOUT CRATIV

CRATIV Packaging (the “Company”) is an emerging engineered packaging company that designs and manufacturers child-resistant packaging in the cannabis space. The Company’s product portfolio consists of three proprietary packaging styles, the CRATIV Original, Mini and Slim, each of which house various sizes of edibles, pre-rolled joints, concentrates and vape pens. The three designs use an innovative locking and latching design which is currently protected under a design patent in the United States and Canada, and utility patents are currently pending in both countries.

Given cannabis legalization trends in North America and uptake of child-resistant packaging regulations in the industry, the Company is rapidly expanding its operations to gain market share and capitalize on the growth opportunity. CRATIV currently has a strong customer base and has produced strong revenue growth since inception.

THE ROLE

As a part of this growth strategy, CRATIV is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to lead business development and sales efforts for the Company out of its Denver office. The role will carry the following responsibilities:

Build, execute and own a sales strategy to achieve strategic revenue forecasts.

  • Utilizes end user marketing tools, prospecting techniques, and centrally developed lead campaigns to generate opportunities.
  • Develops & owns strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Collaborates with team members, network, and key industry contacts to initiate / build relationships with the prospective end customers.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including pipelining, pitching, closing and onboarding key accounts.

Retain and Grow Existing Businesses with Key End User Accounts

  • Regularly engages existing targeted customers to understand their business needs and identify value drivers in order to best position current and new products and solutions.
  • Advantageously positions CRATIV’s products against competition (branding, pricing, service level).

Perform key Administrative Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in company leadership as a senior member of the team.
  • Continuously improves selling / prospecting skills and develops an expertise in the cannabis industry.
  • Hire, train and oversee a team of junior sales reps.

Provide leadership and insight to the customer success team, assist with customer satisfaction, product development and upsell opportunities.

THE CANDIDATE

Below are the required qualifications of the position:

  • 5-8 Years of experience in a professional sales role.
  • 4+ years customer service experience.
  • Experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software and email marketing software / tools.
  • Strong oral, written, communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple internal and external workflows.
  • Management ability: must build and oversee a 4+ person team.
  • Outgoing and personable character.
  • Strong work ethic; closer.
  • Ability to travel for out of state prospect meetings.
  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors degree preferred.

The below items are important for the position, but not required:

  • Experience and connections in the cannabis space.

Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning)

COMPENSATION

Combination of salary and commission
