WHO IS CRATIV?

Bill Ludlow, P.E.

Founder / CEO
Bill Ludlow circle

Bill is a licensed professional mechanical engineer and has over 25 years of experience in ASTM crankcase oil testing, commercial solar energy generation, oil and gas equipment manufacturing, Medical Device manufacturing, and cannabis infused products manufacturing. 15 years of Bill’s experience was focused on Medical Device manufacturing with companies including Cardinal Health, CareFusion, and Becton Dickinson (BD). With his background, Bill has the experience to apply the highly regulated Medical Device manufacturing requirements to the Cannabis Industry. Bill has experience in medical device sterile barrier packaging designs, processes, and validations and has served in the roles of Sr. Principal Engineer, Operations Manager, and Plant Manager. Bill founded CRATIV Packaging and pivoted his career to focus on the cannabis industry in early 2015. He also served in the role of President of Bronnor Corporation, a cannabis infused products manufacturer. Bill holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Austin College in Sherman, TX and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Russ Williams, CFA

Russ Williams

Russ has a strong background in finance and strategy. His professional experiences include managing a boutique business valuation firm in the Rocky Mountain region where he oversaw the firm’s strategic growth initiatives, client experience and growing team. Earlier in his career with the firm, Russ developed and managed valuations for venture capital and private equity clients. At CRATIV, he is responsible for executing the company’s growth strategy and managing financial processes, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and accounting. Russ holds a BS in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Colorado at Boulder and he is a CFA® Charterholder.

Jason Torpy, MBA

Jason is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) with 15 years of experience in transportation and warehousing in military and manufacturing environments.  He started his career with the US Army’s 1st Armored Division as a Captain after graduating from the US Military Academy at West Point.  He honed his skills in diverse environments as a Managing Consultant with IBM’s Global Supply Chain practice.  He holds three certificates from the Association for Supply Chain Management in disciplines of supply chain management and operations.  He earned an MBA with a focus in Strategy and Logistics from The Ohio State University in 2007.

Chris has a passion for life, family and has an adventurous energy that is unique, uncommon, and a great addition to the CRATIV Family. Chris has nearly 15 years of experience working with large consumer packaged goods companies in the wine and tobacco industries with a strong background in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, and Customer Service. Chris is solution-oriented and carries a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University, and has a high level of excitement and drive to be your packaging consultant with an extensive knowledge that will best represent your product needs, brand, and revenue goals.

Chris’s journey started in the Colorado market selling wine known as The Wine Dude before taking on his role at Reynolds American, Inc. for nearly 10 years. Chris covered large supply chains such as Costco, and McLane where he created strong collaborative partnerships through open and honest communication by understanding his customers’ needs first, market dynamics, and competitors to provide both value, and profitable results. Chris has launched over 100 New skus into the market with over 10 brands, and his previous roles have prepared him to be your trusted advisor, and to share mutual success together with integrity. Chris is also an Elite member of the National Institute for Cannabis Investors (NICI).

Stacey Ludlow

Stacey Ludlow, MD is a pediatrician with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. After practicing for over 20 years as a general pediatrician in Tulsa, OK, she joined husband Bill in Denver in 2018 and opened ADHD Specialists of Colorado. In addition to serving as an advisor, she also supports CRATIV employees and customers in various capacities.

Dr. Ludlow attended medical school and did postgraduate Pediatrics training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After serving as a physician in the United States Navy, she and her family settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she practiced general pediatrics for over 20 years. She has always had a strong interest in ADHD and continually educated herself on the disorder. Dr. Ludlow eventually became the sole provider of the ADHD evaluations and medication management for the practice, and also received referrals for her services from other providers in the Tulsa community. Over the years she has observed that access to ADHD diagnosis and treatment services has become increasingly difficult. After relocating to Denver, Colorado, Dr. Ludlow made the decision to pursue a practice dedicated to the treatment of ADHD in children and adolescents.

Mitch McGovern

Mitch has more than 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods sales, marketing, and personnel development.  It began with a 31-year career with Reynolds American, Inc., which concluded with his retirement from RAI in May of 2018.  During his tenure with RAI, Mitch gained national experience with 8 relocations, and successfully leading and contributing in 13 various positions across several departments, both in-home office and in the field.  His final 15 years with RAI, Mitch was the Senior Director of Trade Marketing in the Denver Region, where he excelled through the development of personnel and the successful launches of new brands and products.

 

In his role at CRATIV, Mitch leads the Sales team to work with our customers, to collaboratively develop and build our mutual business, through a partnership focused on Succeeding Together.

 

Mitch is also involved in the local community with contributions through coaching of youth athletics, youth mentoring, and maintenance of public trail systems.  The fun accomplishment was the completion of hiking the Colorado Trail in July 2018, 487 miles in 28 days on the trail.

 

Mitch holds a BS in Accounting from Siena College, Loudonville, NY.

Ashley graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT with a B.A. in Psychology. At Sacred Heart University Ashley was a 3-year starter on the Division I Women’s Soccer team. Recently, Ashley played in the WPSL as a semi-professional soccer player and was selected to the 2019 East Region Midwest All-Conference Team! Ashley has experience in a number of industries including sales and service, medical device manufacturing, and higher education. Ashley brings a common sense approach to business challenges. Her competitive mentality shines bright in a professional setting. Ashley is an extremely results driven individual who is willing to take on any task with confidence to meet or exceed customer expectations. Ashley is a business partner whose strengths are to build positive working relationships with clients, management, and peers.
